Pro Tec CP200WL Multi-Tom Bag with Wheels Drum Set Cases

Purchased this bag for my 4 piece jazz kit. All drums including my 18" bass drum fit perfectly in the bag. The bass drum is a snug tight fit (and i mean snug), my 14" floor tom fits inside the bass drum, and 14" snare and 12" mounted tom also fit nicely in the bag. Quality of the bags material is nicer than i expected - fairly thick and rugged, and zipper seems like good quality. I have not owned the bag long enough to rate it a 5 star although it likely deserves 5 star rating. If you own a 4 piece with an 18" bass drum this bag is the way to go. BTW, you will not fit anything larger than an 18" drum - like i said it was a tight fit (size of the bag is listed as 21" diameter but must be an outside measurement that includes the bag's wheels. Bottom line - i love it!

Vic Firth VICPACK Drummers Backpack

Great product BUT it is more suitcase/gig bag than backpack. While it has shoulder straps only a giant could carry this product as a backpack. I should have wheels for the shorter drummers in the world. Well constructed and holds lots of stuff. Detachable stick bag is handy too.

Drumdial Drum Tuner

Finally I had to faced the truth. I stink at tuning drums. Does the following sound familiar? You decide it's time to go ahead and tune your kit (lets face it, it's never sounded quite right). Well, you grab your toms, your snare and your bass drum and a tuning key. Typically the snare and bass drum aren't too bad. (personally I would just tune the snare really high for a dry *crack* and I would sorta just wing the bass drum. Heck, I dampen it anyways so getting a *thud* noise wasn't too hard).Anyways, now it's time for the toms - the dreaded toms. You loosen each lug and begin. You spend a long time tapping next to each lug. You tap away lightly and tune little by little. It seems like every time you tune a lug, the one right next to it goes out of tune (even if you follow the tuning pattern). Some sound really close, but just not quite right. Finally after enough fiddling you just flail your arms and say "close enough!" and move on to the next tom.You mount your rack toms, put your floor toms back into place and test your kit. Ugh, still doesn't sound quite right. They just don't seem in tune with each other. If you've gone through this (and I certainly have) then the DrumDial is exactly what you need. The DrumDial takes the guess work out of tuning your drums. It's much easier then using your ear (especially if you're tone deaf like myself), but it still takes a little bit of work. It's easiest if you start with finger tight lugs and follow the tuning pattern (if you're…

Vic Firth Heavy Hitter Marching Bass Practice Pad

It doesn't fit on most stands and it has a very small hitting radius. The feel is pretty bad as well. I don't recommend it. Especially at the high cost, it is most certainly not worth it.

Vic Firth Heavy Hitter Quadropad Large

Bought for my sons birthday. He's taking up tenor drums in marching band. He uses it often. These pads are quieter than others he has used. Substantial surface area, yet easy enough to carry/move.

Reunion Blues Large Stick Bag, Chestnut Brown Leather

The leather is nice - but the actual "storage" area is not very big. The outside pocket is VERY roomy - you can store a lot of pencils, probably a Dr. Beat, or several pairs of Vic Firth Plastic Brushes, etc. The internal stick storage area is basically "one" stick deep. You couldn't store more than one "layer" of stick/brush. It's comparable to the ProMark "Deluxe Jumbo" stick bag, which is about a 1/3 of the price.Overall, it's a nice stick bag - it just doesn't hold very much.

Vic Firth prepack w/ 10, 12, 14(2), 20, hi-hat and cymbal (2)

The first problem is the smell. They have a VERY strong rubber smell that lasts for about a week. Second, although it silences some of the drums it changes the pitch and sound so much its completely different. The only ones it works well for are the high hat and bass drum, it quiets them and keeps the same tone. For the snare, it is barely quieter, but a much much higher pitch sound. The toms are quieted but again a WAYYY higher pitched tune. When you put these on the snare and toms, its not even worth playing because the pitch/tone is so off. So if you are learning drumming or just want to learn a new song these make it so much harder because the drums are not the right pitch. For the ride cymbal; it just just sounds like you're hitting a piece of rubber. And for the crash it turns into a loud, sharp, quick, and annoying sound, but not any quieter. Only get these as an absolute last resort! if you have to quiet the drumset get an electric kit, or put acoustic foam over the walls.

Vic Firth Stereo Isolation Headphones.

All I wanted were headphones to reduce the horrible, loud music in my gym. Koss noise-cancelling headphones didn't do it. And I didn't want to spend $300 on Bose headphones. So I took a chance on these after reading the reviews. Success! While listening to my ipod with these headphones, I don't hear the music in the gym at all. The main issue is the tightness on the head, since these are not battery-powered (another plus). They don't use the white-noise technique. They fit tightly on the head. I recommend them if you want to reduce unwanted noise.

Reunion Blues Extra Large Stick & Mallet Bag, Chestnut Brown Leather

I own this and the smaller Reunion Blues Large Drumstick Bag, Black Leather and love the quality of both. I have to admit that the this model does not get as much use because the smaller one is more than sufficient for my needs. See the customer-provided photos above for side-by-side photos of both products for a comparison. That is not to say that this bag is not best for some drummers. For touring drummers this bag will easily carry a more than adequate supply of sticks, mallets and brushes, and for percussionists who use a wider array of stick and mallet types this bag is hands-down the best.Another point in this bag's favor over the smaller one is if you play with fixed brushes such as the RegalTip 593C Regal Brushes Clay Cameron, then this bag will easily hold the plastic tubes you probably store those brushes in (the smaller bag cannot do that.)The front pouch can hold an array of drum keys, small tools and spare parts with room to spare. This bag (and its smaller sibling cited above) are built to last a lifetime, with careful attention paid to zippers and stitching. The leather is of the highest quality and it looks as good as it is constructed. If you are a professional drummer or percussionist this bag is an investment.

POWER Wrist Builders(tm) - SOLID Brass Practice Sticks - Size 3S / SD1 / SD3 - (28 Ounces - 795 Grams) - 14 times the weight of a wood drumstick

If you are serious about drumming and maybe a little new to it... These sticks are a must have... I have 3 pairs of power wrist builders ( 5x,10x, and 14x the weight of a normal drumstick) I bought these sticks in this order as well as just recently upgrading to the 14x pair... These sticks are great, if you know anything about drumming you should know that everything is in the wrists. After I use these sticks my wrists feel so strong you know that it is working... And when you get that muscle memory going in your wrists and fingers it transfers right over to your regular lightweight drumsticks in the form of speed and control... I highly recommend practicing rudiments w/ these sticks for maximum gain... I dunno what the other guy is talking about i can play just fine with these sticks... I have no tension in my arms at all when i use these just wrist and fingers.... And it feels great!!!All in all I love these sticks and my drumming has vastly improved in a relatively short amount of time... Highly recommend...
