Vic Firth drum mutes are made of non-slip pure rubber for realistic action. This Prepak includes 10", 12", and 2 - 14" drum mutes; your choice of 20" or 22" bass drum mute; 2 cymbal mutes; and one hi-hat mute. The bass drum mute is made of dense foam and attaches to the bass drum with Velcro. The cymbal mutes fit 16"-18" and 18"-20" cymbals.
The first problem is the smell. They have a VERY strong rubber smell that lasts for about a week. Second, although it silences some of the drums it changes the pitch and sound so much its completely different. The only ones it works well for are the high hat and bass drum, it quiets them and keeps the same tone. For the snare, it is barely quieter, but a much much higher pitch sound. The toms are quieted but again a WAYYY higher pitched tune. When you put these on the snare and toms, its not even worth playing because the pitch/tone is so off. So if you are learning drumming or just want to learn a new song these make it so much harder because the drums are not the right pitch. For the ride cymbal; it just just sounds like you're hitting a piece of rubber. And for the crash it turns into a loud, sharp, quick, and annoying sound, but not any quieter. Only get these as an absolute last resort! if you have to quiet the drumset get an electric kit, or put acoustic foam over the walls.
Practice Pad Set. Made by DW.Deadhead Pads are specially made to provide natural feel and rebound without muffling the tone of the drums. These portable drum mutes allow for ultra-quiet practice and are made with heavy duty construction. All pads fit their respective size or larger-size drums. Drum pads conveniently rest on top of drumhead.
DW truly knows about drums. My 12 year old son is enjoying his set and I like the quality of material and sound. A great choice!
Vic Firth V8000B Universal Percussion Kit Bag
We had a used percussion kit with an old case that he had to carry on his shoulder along with all of his books. He was thrilled when I purchased this one on wheels for him.
Designed for practicing quads. Spacing is to scale with 1/4" rim-to-rim drums. Pads are laid out accurately and cut for all playing areas - both standard and scrape. 2 spock pads made with a thinner rubber than the main quad pads have a more authentic feel.
Bought for my sons birthday. He's taking up tenor drums in marching band. He uses it often. These pads are quieter than others he has used. Substantial surface area, yet easy enough to carry/move.
The foam overlay pads dampen drums and cymbals. Sizes include 12"' 13"' 14"' 16"' 22"' hi-hat and cymbal (2)
If you need a muting system to be able to practice on your kit without disturbing everyone in the house/apartment, this is the best product I could find. I've tried other muting systems (some much more expensive and difficult to apply) and this one does the job perfectly.I have more drums and cymbals on my kit than just the sizes provided, but they are a perfect fit for: 14" snare, 12/13/16" toms, 22" bass, 14" hi-hats, 16" crash, 20" ride. I didn't have to cut them to size or modify the mute pads in any way. From box to drum and done. - The hi-hat is perfect, just close your hi-hat and lock it in place and you'll get no noise (seems obvious, huh?). - The snare is muted enough that it still sounds like a snare but 1/10th the sound (not an exact audio output measurement, I'm using that ratio for illustrative purposes). - The toms are muted to the point where you almost can't tell a tone difference. - The crash and ride mutes are a perfect fit for my 16" crash and 20" ride and I can still tell them apart. - The bass is muted enough that I'm sure if you put this on the first floor, no one would know you were playing. I'm on the second floor so people can hear the light tapping and the foot step of the bass but not the sound of the drums themselves. One person said it's almost if I'm tapping my hands on my knees and stomping my foot.BL: If you're looking for a muting system, this is the product for you.I read someone's review who went berserk…
Vic Firth VICPACK Drummers Backpack
Great product BUT it is more suitcase/gig bag than backpack. While it has shoulder straps only a giant could carry this product as a backpack. I should have wheels for the shorter drummers in the world. Well constructed and holds lots of stuff. Detachable stick bag is handy too.
The Vic Firth Heavy Hitter Bass Pad features the original ?barbell? design which mounts on a cymbal stand for vertical and quiet practice of the marching bass drum. The player can see stick angles, stick heights and ?side-to-side line up? while practicing on a 14? wide set-up ? just like an actual marching bass drum. The Basspad offers sturdy steel construction, a mounting post designed to fit all brands of cymbal stands and 1/4? thick gum rubber pads for a realistic feel.
It doesn't fit on most stands and it has a very small hitting radius. The feel is pretty bad as well. I don't recommend it. Especially at the high cost, it is most certainly not worth it.

Best of the Best!!Prompt service, top-of-the line product; highest quality at a price that can't be beat. If my son ever needed a replacement, I would absolutely purchase this product from this vendor!!
Designed by Peter Erskine, the new Stand-Alone stick bag does just that. Utilizing a lightweight, aluminum flush base, the Stand-Alone bag folds open providing plenty of space for sticks, brushes and mallets and has a table on top for sheet music, MP3 player, cell phone, etc. With more functionality than the average stick bag, Peter Erskine's Stand-Alone stick bag is the only professional choice.
It was purchsed for my brother for his b-day because he is into drums and the person how created this bag.
Another Protec solution. We’ve developed the bag that can hold and transport 2 Toms, your floor Tom, and percussion accessories. The drum tower simplifies your drum transportation needs and is loaded with well thought out features to provide the ultimate protection and convenience.
Purchased this bag for my 4 piece jazz kit. All drums including my 18" bass drum fit perfectly in the bag. The bass drum is a snug tight fit (and i mean snug), my 14" floor tom fits inside the bass drum, and 14" snare and 12" mounted tom also fit nicely in the bag. Quality of the bags material is nicer than i expected - fairly thick and rugged, and zipper seems like good quality. I have not owned the bag long enough to rate it a 5 star although it likely deserves 5 star rating. If you own a 4 piece with an 18" bass drum this bag is the way to go. BTW, you will not fit anything larger than an 18" drum - like i said it was a tight fit (size of the bag is listed as 21" diameter but must be an outside measurement that includes the bag's wheels. Bottom line - i love it!
The Remo Kids Gathering Drum is loosely based on ceremonial drums used in many cultures throughout the world. For example, drums like these are often used to call a village together for regular meetings, as well as for special occasions. This 22 inch Gathering Drum can be played with hands, sticks, or mallets and can accommodate two or more players at the same time. From the playroom to the classroom, the Gathering Drum is colorful, durable, and a great addition to any kid's music collection! Children love to make music, and, since rhythm is the foundation of all music making, the Remo Kids Percussion Collection gives children an exciting way to make music with their own instruments. Not only is playing music fun, research has found that music participation can have a beneficial and long lasting impact on a child’s self-discipline and self-confidence. Remo Kids Percussion is a positive, healthy introduction to music and rhythm - the perfect way for children and their parents to discover…
I bought my son this drum for Christmas because it is the same drum use in his music class! After seeing the age and number of children that play with it each day I knew it would be a long lasting drum!
These specially designed headphones drastically reduce the level of external sound reaching the musician's ears, offering valuable protection from potential damage. The SIH1 reduces overall noise levels by 24 decibels and features high quality stereo headphones. Unlike non-isolation headsets, where musicians typically crank the volume to very high and potentially damaging sound levels in order to hear the music clearly, the SIH1 reduces ambient noise from the instruments. This allows the musician to play along with the recorded music or monitor other performers in a live situation at comfortable and safe sound levels. All I wanted were headphones to reduce the horrible, loud music in my gym. Koss noise-cancelling headphones didn't do it. And I didn't want to spend $300 on Bose headphones. So I took a chance on these after reading the reviews. Success! While listening to my ipod with these headphones, I don't hear the music in the gym at all. The main issue is the tightness on the head, since these are not battery-powered (another plus). They don't use the white-noise technique. They fit tightly on the head. I recommend them if you want to reduce unwanted noise.
All Reunion Blues bags are crafted from full-grain leathers for ultimate luxury. Our large stick bag is a leader in convenience with its removable shoulder strap and large zippered outside pocket. Soft, tarnish-resistant interior lining cradles your sticks while the zipper-guard foam overlap protects against damage. Each bag is reinforced at tested stress points and double stitched with extra-strength high tensile thread. The bags are finished with custom plated hardware, including industrial strength zippers and extra-strength riveted handles and strap attachments for unsurpassable longevity.
I own this and the smaller Reunion Blues Large Drumstick Bag, Black Leather and love the quality of both. I have to admit that the this model does not get as much use because the smaller one is more than sufficient for my needs. See the customer-provided photos above for side-by-side photos of both products for a comparison. That is not to say that this bag is not best for some drummers. For touring drummers this bag will easily carry a more than adequate supply of sticks, mallets and brushes, and for percussionists who use a wider array of stick and mallet types this bag is hands-down the best.Another point in this bag's favor over the smaller one is if you play with fixed brushes such as the RegalTip 593C Regal Brushes Clay Cameron, then this bag will easily hold the plastic tubes you probably store those brushes in (the smaller bag cannot do that.)The front pouch can hold an array of drum keys, small tools and spare parts with room to spare. This bag (and its smaller sibling cited above) are built to last a lifetime, with careful attention paid to zippers and stitching. The leather is of the highest quality and it looks as good as it is constructed. If you are a professional drummer or percussionist this bag is an investment.
Finally a sensible, stylish case that outperforms wood and plastic. When we set out to develop a new case, we knew it had a lot to live up to. That’s why we spent 3 years thinking through every detail of the RB Continental — a revolutionary fusion of strength and style. The RB Continental’s water-resistant ballistic Quadraweave exterior surrounds a lightweight Flexoskeleton protection system of 1-Inch thick high-density foam and EVA impact panels that offers unparralleled protection for your cymbals.Inside, a velvet tuck interior lining and thick Softmesh-lined side panels cradle your cymbals in a cocoon of scuff-proof luxury. And its Zero G palm-contoured handle with weight distributing foam core, knurled abrasion grid on bottom to resist scuffing, and hideaway backpack straps are designed for getting around in the real world. The RB Continental is everything you’d expect from Reunion Blues, at a price that’s almost too good to be true.
As the saying goes,"You get what you pay for..." It's almost always true. This Reunion bag is an excellent case in point. I tried three other cymbal bags before finally buying the RB Continental- a Zildjian bag, which was not what it was advertised as; a Gator bag that said it would accommodate 22" cymbals, but did not, and one other that offered little or no protection. This is a great bag! Incredibly well thought out, obviously designed by percussionists, very attractive, and piece of mind without having to resort to a heavy, bulky, ugly plastic molded cymbal case. It's like the Porche of drum bags. You usually get what you pay for. Worth the price!
