Vic Firth prepack w/ 10, 12, 14(2), 20, hi-hat and cymbal (2)

The first problem is the smell. They have a VERY strong rubber smell that lasts for about a week. Second, although it silences some of the drums it changes the pitch and sound so much its completely different. The only ones it works well for are the high hat and bass drum, it quiets them and keeps the same tone. For the snare, it is barely quieter, but a much much higher pitch sound. The toms are quieted but again a WAYYY higher pitched tune. When you put these on the snare and toms, its not even worth playing because the pitch/tone is so off. So if you are learning drumming or just want to learn a new song these make it so much harder because the drums are not the right pitch. For the ride cymbal; it just just sounds like you're hitting a piece of rubber. And for the crash it turns into a loud, sharp, quick, and annoying sound, but not any quieter. Only get these as an absolute last resort! if you have to quiet the drumset get an electric kit, or put acoustic foam over the walls.

Vic Firth Heavy Hitter Quadropad Large

Bought for my sons birthday. He's taking up tenor drums in marching band. He uses it often. These pads are quieter than others he has used. Substantial surface area, yet easy enough to carry/move.

Vic Firth prepack w/ 12, 13, 14, 16, 22, hi-hat and cymbal (2)

If you need a muting system to be able to practice on your kit without disturbing everyone in the house/apartment, this is the best product I could find. I've tried other muting systems (some much more expensive and difficult to apply) and this one does the job perfectly.I have more drums and cymbals on my kit than just the sizes provided, but they are a perfect fit for: 14" snare, 12/13/16" toms, 22" bass, 14" hi-hats, 16" crash, 20" ride. I didn't have to cut them to size or modify the mute pads in any way. From box to drum and done. - The hi-hat is perfect, just close your hi-hat and lock it in place and you'll get no noise (seems obvious, huh?). - The snare is muted enough that it still sounds like a snare but 1/10th the sound (not an exact audio output measurement, I'm using that ratio for illustrative purposes). - The toms are muted to the point where you almost can't tell a tone difference. - The crash and ride mutes are a perfect fit for my 16" crash and 20" ride and I can still tell them apart. - The bass is muted enough that I'm sure if you put this on the first floor, no one would know you were playing. I'm on the second floor so people can hear the light tapping and the foot step of the bass but not the sound of the drums themselves. One person said it's almost if I'm tapping my hands on my knees and stomping my foot.BL: If you're looking for a muting system, this is the product for you.I read someone's review who went berserk…

Vic Firth VICPACK Drummers Backpack

Great product BUT it is more suitcase/gig bag than backpack. While it has shoulder straps only a giant could carry this product as a backpack. I should have wheels for the shorter drummers in the world. Well constructed and holds lots of stuff. Detachable stick bag is handy too.

Vic Firth Heavy Hitter Marching Bass Practice Pad

It doesn't fit on most stands and it has a very small hitting radius. The feel is pretty bad as well. I don't recommend it. Especially at the high cost, it is most certainly not worth it.

Pro Tec CP200WL Multi-Tom Bag with Wheels Drum Set Cases

Purchased this bag for my 4 piece jazz kit. All drums including my 18" bass drum fit perfectly in the bag. The bass drum is a snug tight fit (and i mean snug), my 14" floor tom fits inside the bass drum, and 14" snare and 12" mounted tom also fit nicely in the bag. Quality of the bags material is nicer than i expected - fairly thick and rugged, and zipper seems like good quality. I have not owned the bag long enough to rate it a 5 star although it likely deserves 5 star rating. If you own a 4 piece with an 18" bass drum this bag is the way to go. BTW, you will not fit anything larger than an 18" drum - like i said it was a tight fit (size of the bag is listed as 21" diameter but must be an outside measurement that includes the bag's wheels. Bottom line - i love it!

Vic Firth Stereo Isolation Headphones.

All I wanted were headphones to reduce the horrible, loud music in my gym. Koss noise-cancelling headphones didn't do it. And I didn't want to spend $300 on Bose headphones. So I took a chance on these after reading the reviews. Success! While listening to my ipod with these headphones, I don't hear the music in the gym at all. The main issue is the tightness on the head, since these are not battery-powered (another plus). They don't use the white-noise technique. They fit tightly on the head. I recommend them if you want to reduce unwanted noise.

Reunion Blues Extra Large Stick & Mallet Bag, Chestnut Brown Leather

I own this and the smaller Reunion Blues Large Drumstick Bag, Black Leather and love the quality of both. I have to admit that the this model does not get as much use because the smaller one is more than sufficient for my needs. See the customer-provided photos above for side-by-side photos of both products for a comparison. That is not to say that this bag is not best for some drummers. For touring drummers this bag will easily carry a more than adequate supply of sticks, mallets and brushes, and for percussionists who use a wider array of stick and mallet types this bag is hands-down the best.Another point in this bag's favor over the smaller one is if you play with fixed brushes such as the RegalTip 593C Regal Brushes Clay Cameron, then this bag will easily hold the plastic tubes you probably store those brushes in (the smaller bag cannot do that.)The front pouch can hold an array of drum keys, small tools and spare parts with room to spare. This bag (and its smaller sibling cited above) are built to last a lifetime, with careful attention paid to zippers and stitching. The leather is of the highest quality and it looks as good as it is constructed. If you are a professional drummer or percussionist this bag is an investment.

Reunion Blues RB Continental RBCM22 Cymbal Case

As the saying goes,"You get what you pay for..." It's almost always true. This Reunion bag is an excellent case in point. I tried three other cymbal bags before finally buying the RB Continental- a Zildjian bag, which was not what it was advertised as; a Gator bag that said it would accommodate 22" cymbals, but did not, and one other that offered little or no protection. This is a great bag! Incredibly well thought out, obviously designed by percussionists, very attractive, and piece of mind without having to resort to a heavy, bulky, ugly plastic molded cymbal case. It's like the Porche of drum bags. You usually get what you pay for. Worth the price!
